Flair Sculptures: 1996
In 1996 I produced the series Flair. These are polychrome sculptures in which bands of graded color are painted on strips of plastic the outer edges of which undulate outward from the bottom to the top as they twist upward from a narrow tapered bottom. Color varies along the length of the strips as well as in the round.
